This is a sketch I did before making the dresses its not the best, but it gives the general idea.
I wasn't able to get really good pictures of the dresses before I had to ship them; Due to a couple of days of gloomy/rainy weather but I was able to take a few.
After, several tries with the sleeve holes I was finally able to get them all shaped some what the same. I Have no idea how other people do it! Need less to say I don't think I want to make these style sleeves again. Not that I don't like the challange, but I spent a whole day messing with them then I needed to go to bed, so it took me more like a day 1/3 and they really are not fun to make.
Wow! Great job, Jessica! I REally like the dark blue dress.
ReplyDeleteSuch a talented person!
Yes, I just have to agree... beautiful, especially the blue dress!
ReplyDeleteWonderful job Jessica! they both look so lovely, but I especially like the dark blue dress :-)

What a fantastic job. I had to make a medievil costume for my daughter and as you can see from my blog, it looks more armish wear than medievil :-( My daughter loved it tho so I'm still happy :-) http://whatsherrymadetoday.blogspot.com/2011/09/peasant-costume.html
