Fun Sewing Request

I got a request to make a few costumes for a fall festival a few weeks ago and while I couldn't make everything I was able to make 2 dresses. They couldn't decide on which dress style they wanted and asked if I could combined the styles.


This is a sketch I did before making the dresses its not the best, but it gives the general idea.

I wasn't able to get really good pictures of the dresses before I had to ship them; Due to a couple of days of gloomy/rainy weather but I was able to take a few.

 

After, several tries with the sleeve holes I was finally able to get them all shaped some what the same. I Have no idea how other people do it! Need less to say I don't think I want to make these style sleeves again. Not that I don't like the challange, but I spent a whole day messing with them then I needed to go to bed, so it took me more like a day 1/3 and they really are not fun to make.
